It is very hard to keep our joy shiny when we are surrounded by so many stressful things. Our jobs, finances, health conditions, or family struggles can challenge our joy and peace. Paul shared a similar experience when he wrote his letter to the Philippians. He was in Roman prison, facing the possibility of death. And yet, he had joy, he said “I rejoice .. and I will continue to rejoice” (Philippians 2:18). He used the word “joy” five times and the verb “rejoice” nine times in this short letter. Philippians is rightly called “the letter of joy.”

As we will study together the Epistle of Philippians during April, we will ask: How can we have joy regardless of all circumstances?
Please join us Wednesday, April 10, 17, and 24 at 6-7 p.m. A light meal a childcare will also be provided.
